Losing a child is a journey that everyone fears to start and yet there is no end.  It is just a long and excruciating road.  I remember the day after Ethan died I felt so lost and the only thing I wanted was someone who had been through this before to tell me what to do; someone I could relate to that could understand the pain I was going through at that moment.  No one or nothing will ever make it “all better” but there are resources out there for newly bereaved parents that can help with this painful and life-altering event.  And if you just want someone to talk to that is walking this road, please reach out to me at
